Grading Information
Each teacher has an Open Disclosure Statement, indicating what is required and how academic grades are determined for students in their classes.á If there is a perceived error in a grade, any grade changes must be completed within the following quarter or by June 30 for the fourth quarter (Murray School Board Policy).áá

Aáááááááá 93-100%
A-ááááááá 90-92%
B+ááááááá87-89%
Bááááááááá83-86%
B-áááááááá80-82%
C+áááááá 77-79%
Cáááááááá 73-76%
C-ááááááá 70-72%
D+áááááá 67-69%
Dáááááááá 63-67%
D-ááááááá 60-62%
Fááááááááááá 0-59%

Cheating
It is important for each student to develop personal integrity and lifelong learning skills.á Therefore, cheating will not be tolerated.á Any student that participates in cheating will receive a zero on that assignment (i.e. test, quiz, assignment or homework.)


Internet Access to Grades
Grades and attendance are available through the Internet.á If you have not called Hillcrest Jr. High School'sáoffice to set up your student's access password, please call us at 264-7442.á The website is www.murrayschools.org. You will needáyour student's ID number and a password (assigned through the office).


Report Cards / Deficiency Notices
Midterms and first, second and third term report cards are sent home with students.á Deficiency notices and fourth term report cards are emailed/mailed to parents.á If you would like to receive these notices electronically, please call the school at 801-264-7442 and provide a current email address.
